Make it Easier to Launch Virt-Manager

So... Unless you like a lot of typing... We can make Virt-Manager appear as an entry in the XWin's system tray menu...

Open up the Cygwin Terminal and...

$ cp /etc/X11/system.XWinrc./etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc ~/.XWinrc

Then you can edit the ~/.XWinrc file with the editor of your choice.  I used Notepad++ from Windows.  The Cygwin Home folder is located in C:\Cygwin64\home\<username> by default.

Menu Apps...

Find the 'menu apps' section:

// Make some menus...
# menu apps {
# xterm exec "xterm"
# "Emacs" exec "emacs"
# notepad exec notepad
# xload exec "xload -display %display%" # Comment
# }

and make it look like this (you can leave the # in front of the xterm line if you prefer...)

// Make some menus...
menu apps {
 xterm exec "xterm"
 virt-manager exec "virt-manager"
# "Emacs" exec "emacs"
# notepad exec notepad
# xload exec "xload -display %display%" # Comment
}

Menu Root...

Find the menu root section and uncomment the Applications menu apps line...

menu root {
"Applications" menu apps
// Comments fit here, too...
// SEPARATOR

Make sure your XWin Server is not already running (right click on the system tray icon and exit if it is)...  and then launch it again from the Start Menu.

Search the System tray for an icon that looks like

Then Right click on it, and you should see an "Applications" menu...  Virt-manager should appear there...  Click on the App and it will launch.
